The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Amendments to Clause 4 of the Law "On the Use of Defence Land" (re Construction of Housing for Military Servants and their Family Members)

The bill supplements Clause 4 of the applicable Law with a provision that the defence lands can be used for construction of not only socio-cultural facilities, but also housing for the military servants and their family members, as well as social and affordable housing, provided the target purpose remains unchanged.

A relevant bill was registered under Reg. No. 6430.
